Working in partnership with registered housing and wrap-around support services, the Community Closet provides free, seasonally appropriate clothing to people most in need through “free to take” clothing - fostering wellbeing, confidence, and self-expression.
What We Offer
Pop Up Events
The Community Closet provides free, seasonally appropriate clothing to people most in need through “free to take” clothing rails set up in partnership with housing services across the Dublin City Council area. Service users choose what they need based on their own wants and preferences, promoting dignity and autonomy.
Provision of Clothing for Collection
We can arrange clothing for collection to organisations in the Dublin City Area, based on your current client needs.

How individuals can access clothing
Community Closet provides clothing to people in need through our network of partner organisations.
We do not provide clothing directly to individuals or accept individual requests for clothing. Our partner organisations are best placed to understand the needs of the people they support and to access clothing from Community Closet on their behalf.
If you are looking for clothing for yourself or your family, please contact a local organisation or support service directly that works with people in your circumstances. They can assess your needs and, where appropriate, may be able to access clothing through their own services or through Community Closet.
