What’s Happening?
Used a sewing machine before but haven’t a clue what to do next? Great! Join us for a simple guided project and get your sewing skates back on in a social environment. All materials and machinery provided.

What’s in store?
Turn reclaimed linen into a beautiful handmade bookmark while discovering how even the smallest textile offcuts can be transformed into something practical and long-lasting. During this relaxed one-hour workshop, you'll learn simple cutting, finishing and decorative techniques to create a unique bookmark that's perfect for gifting or keeping.
Along the way, you'll explore the value of textile reuse and see how creative upcycling can give new life to materials that might otherwise go to waste.
All materials are provided, and you’re encouraged to bring along a garment you’d like to mend or transform. No experience needed - just curiosity and creativity.

What’s Happening?
Whether you're completely new to sewing or already have a few projects under your belt, our monthly Re-maker Space is a relaxed evening to learn, make and create together.
Bring along a project you're working on, learn how to use a sewing machine, practise new techniques, or finally tackle that repair or alteration you've been putting off. Our team will be on hand to offer guidance and support throughout the evening.
We provide sewing machines, tools and a selection of reclaimed fabrics and haberdashery to experiment with. You're also welcome to bring your own materials or project if you'd prefer.

During this relaxed one-hour workshop, you'll learn simple felting and finishing techniques using rescued textile materials to create a unique piece that's both practical and sustainable.
As you create, you'll explore how wool and other reclaimed textiles can be repurposed into beautiful everyday items, helping to reduce waste through creativity.

Experiment with different patch shapes, colours and stitching techniques to create repairs that celebrate creativity while extending the life of your clothing. Whether you're covering a hole, reinforcing a well-loved item or simply adding your own unique style, you'll leave with practical skills you can use again and again.
