Discover how to transform reclaimed wool into a beautiful, hand-braided placemat using simple techniques that anyone can learn. During this relaxed one-hour workshop, you'll work with rescued textile materials to create a practical item for your home while exploring the creative potential of textile reuse.
You'll learn basic braiding and construction techniques, hear more about how reclaimed textiles can be given a second life, and leave with your finished placemat to take home.
All materials are provided, and you’re encouraged to bring along a garment you’d like to mend or transform. No experience needed - just curiosity and creativity.
