Discover the creative side of clothing repair in this beginner-friendly visible mending workshop. Instead of hiding repairs, visible mending celebrates them - using stitching, patches, and decorative techniques to give clothes a new life and unique character.
In this hands-on session, you’ll learn:
Simple visible mending techniques
Decorative hand stitching
How to patch holes and worn areas creatively
Ways to personalise and extend the life of your clothes
Tips for repairing garments using scrap fabrics and simple materials
All materials are provided, and you’re encouraged to bring along a garment you’d like to mend or transform. No sewing experience needed - just curiosity and creativity.
