Join us for Gulliver’s Tag & Trade, a hands-on swap and making workshop led by Change Clothes as part of Culture D8.
Inspired by Gulliver’s Travels, this session explores movement, exchange and storytelling through clothing. Bring along a small selection of good-quality items to swap, then take part in a relaxed drop-in workshop to design and make your own luggage tag using rescued scrap textiles, trims and haberdashery from the Change Clothes scrap store.
Expect simple guided demonstrations, plenty of materials, and a warm, social atmosphere where making happens alongside swapping. Each finished tag becomes a small personal artefact of travel, marking journeys taken, imagined or yet to come.
This event connects to the Gulliver 300 theme by exploring scale, travel and perspective through everyday materials, while reflecting Culture D8’s focus on creativity, participation and sustainability.
