IRISH DESIGN WEEK - The Repair Relay: Mending in Motion
The Repair Relay: Mending in Motion
π Friday 21 November 2025
π 1β6pm (drop in anytime)
π Change Clothes, The Digital Depot, Roe Lane, The Liberties, D08 TCV4
The Repair Relay is a playful, collaborative event where creativity and sustainability come together. Across the afternoon and evening, participants take turns repairing, patching, and embellishing garments - each person picking up where the last left off. The result? Clothes transformed into unique, layered creations that tell a collective story.
This free, drop-in workshop is open to all ages and abilities. Whether youβve never threaded a needle or youβre a seasoned maker, our facilitators will guide you through simple stitching, decorative touches, and inventive repair techniques. You can bring your own item to work on, or add your mark to one of the garments we provide.
The Repair Relay is about connection as much as craft. Come stitch, share, and pass it on.
This event is part of Irish Design Week 2025, and has been made possible thanks to financial support from The Design & Crafts Council Ireland.
