Stitching Change: Community, Creativity & Circular Fashion

Change Clothes, Unit E, The Digital Depot @ The Digital Hub, Roe Lane, The Liberties, D08 TCV4

Thursday September 25th | 6–8pm

Join us for an evening of conversation, creativity, and collaboration exploring how community-led fashion can tackle textile waste and spark new ideas.

6:00 – 6:30pm | Intro & Panel Conversation (Swap Shop Area)

Hosted by Mary Fleming (Change Clothes) with panelists Rainie [Change Clothes], Lucy [We Make Good], and Siv [Rediscover Fashion @ The Rediscovery Centre].
We’ll kick off with a short welcome and introductions before diving into a dynamic conversation about the challenges and opportunities of sustainable fashion in Ireland.

🎤 Audience Q&A included - your chance to join the conversation.

6:30 – 7:30pm | Collaborative Challenge (Community Area)

Help Us Make Our Next Bestseller
What if you could help design the next hit upcycled product? Together, we’ll co-create a concept for a new piece, accessory, or DIY kit.

  • Share ideas for how waste materials could be transformed

  • Imagine functionality, design, and purpose

  • Add your thoughts to our large circular brainstorm wall, reflecting the cycle of reuse - where we consider an item’s end of life at the very start of its journey.

6:00 – 8:00pm | Info & Display Stalls (Production Area)

Browse throughout the evening, meet the makers, and get inspired:

  • We Make Good – social enterprise design for impact

  • Change Clothes – community-based clothing reuse and repair

  • Rediscovery Centre – Ireland’s national centre for the circular economy

Come along to connect with makers, activists, and dreamers reimagining fashion - not just as clothing, but as community, creativity, and change.
