Are you aged 18–25 and not currently in work or education? Join our free 8-week Change Clothes for Good programme and build skills, confidence, and community through circular fashion. You’ll learn practical skills in sewing, repair, upcycling, tailoring, and knitwear mending - while exploring opportunities in fashion, sustainability, and creative industries. To take part, you must be available for the full course.

Week 2 – Fri 17 Oct
• Intro to Machine Sewing
• Basic Wool Repairs

Week 3 – Fri 24 Oct
• Cutting & Using Patterns
• Darning Basics

Week 4 – Thurs 30 Oct
• Constructing a Simple Item
• Visible Repair I: Colourful Darning

Week 5 – Fri 7 Nov
• Fix & Maintain Sewing Machines
• Visible Repair II: Embellishment Through Repair

Week 6 – Thurs 20 Nov
• Garment Construction Basics
• Creative Knitwear Repairs

Week 7 – Fri 28 Nov
• Basic Tailoring & Alterations
• Repairing Structural Damage

Week 8 – Thurs 4 Dec
• Final Project – Sew a Simple Garment
• Final Project – Showcase Repairs & Embellishments

By the end, you’ll have completed your own projects and gained skills to take forward into future study, work, or creative pathways.
