The government has set a target for itself to see 7% emissions cut each year and we are still not meeting this target. We have set a narrow focus on the government climate policy (a 7% emission cut per annum) and work with the power of grassroots to demand it and at the least identify it.

The only time we have seen the simple of target of the 7% emissions cut been brought up in the Oireachtas has mostly been prompted by us and its only been a handful of times. Working together we can put pressure on the government, bring parliamentary questions to politicians so the question “why are we not meeting our 7% emissions…
